We all would feel better and have more energy if we ate cleaner, exercise regularly, and got 7-8 hours of sleep each night. Combined, eater healthier, moving more, and getting sufficient rest usually result in a healthier life, a physically fitter body, and a more peaceful mind. And who among us doesn't need those?
But where should you begin? You can start by hiring me as your advisor & coach. Consider me a close friend who will guide and coax you on the road to a healthier, happier you in 2018.
Let me give you some free advice about how to get more sleep. Getting a better night's rest is all about creating and then maintaining positive sleep habits. Finding a nighttime ritual that works for you is important. Establishing a pretty consistent bedtime is essential. Prohibiting all electronics and smart devices from your bedroom is non-negotiable.
Here's an example of what I mean -- Before my regular bedtime, I put all of my smart devices (iPhone, iPad, and Mac) on chargers in the kitchen. After I've tidied up the kitchen, I take a hot shower or bath with my lavender essential oil soap. I only use this particular soap at night before retiring to bed. After I'm clean and cozy in my silk PJs, I have a cup of hot chamomile tea, and put on my fury green socks I bought in Malibu two boyfriends ago.
This is my normal bedtime ritual. There's no electronics in my bedroom with me which could wake me up in the middle of the night or keep me up past my bedtime, and my hot tea and cozy socks make me feel warm and relaxed in order for me to slip off to dreamland to dream about climbing mountains, sliding down rainbows, and dancing to Kesha's latest and greatest on white fluffy clouds.
